Join 3 of the West Coast’s premier jazz guitarist on one stage for a unique and very special performance!

 

Will Brahm:

Born in Portland Oregon, Will Brahm moved to Los Angeles in 2007 and attended the Cole Conservatory of music at Cal State Long Beach, graduating in 2012 with a bachelors degree in jazz guitar performance as a 5 time K-jazz scholar. Having always loved music from different cultures around the world, Will formed his world music group “Homenaje“, releasing their debut album “La Mariposa y el Mentiroso” in 2017, featuring all original compositions of Will’s. He tours extensively within the United States and has also toured to Asia, Canada, and Europe with his music. He also plays with the critically acclaimed New West Guitar Group, and has worked with artists including The Gordon Goodwin Phat Band, Kim Richmond, Jimmy Branly, Otmaro Ruiz, Gretchen Parlato, Sara Gazarek, and Jane Monheit.

 

Hristo Vitchev:

Referred by the media as one of the newest and most innovative voices in modern jazz guitar and voted “Rising Star on Guitar” by DownBeat Magazine, Hristo Vichev’s music has been captivating audiences all across the globe. At only age 37, he has already released nine critically-acclaimed albums as a leader plus four more releases as a co-leader.

Originally from Bulgaria, but now based in the San Francisco Bay Area, the impressionistic guitarist combines elements of classical, modern jazz, folk, and avant-garde sonic hues in his music. He has performed at some of the most prestigious jazz clubs and festivals in the world and continues to amaze both critics and audiences alike with his imaginative, lyrical and illustrious writing.

He has toured nationally and internationally, appearing at some of the most prestigious jazz clubs and festivals all over the globe, and has also performed guitar clinics in Europe and Japan.

 

Mason Razavi:

Mason Razavi is a jazz guitarist, composer/arranger, educator, and recording artist in the San Francisco Bay Area. His albums have garnered praise from critics and have received airplay internationally. Razavi has been described as a “thoughtful player and composer that offers the listener an introspective experience of deeper meaning” by Jazz Times.

Razavi’s albums include a catalog of ambitious original compositions for classical guitar as well as jazz compositions for his quartet and nonet. He has also written music for various classical/orchestral settings and has worked as a freelance arranger and producer.

An avid educator, Razavi has been on the music faculty at De Anza College, West Valley College, and Mission College. He maintains a busy private teaching schedule, and has been a clinician as well as a participant in music education outreach programs in the Bay Area. Razavi holds holds a M.A. in Jazz Studies from San Jose State University and a B.M. from the Berklee College of Music where he majored in Contemporary Writing and Production.
